Water Purification Tablets-Chlorine, Nadcc

Chlorine disinfection is a very effective way of eliminating microbiological contamination of drinking water. Uniteam water purifying tablets can be used for all sources of water.

General description:

• CHLORE, 40 mg (NaDCC 67 mg), for 10 L water purif., tab.
• CHLORE, 100 mg (NaDCC 167 mg), for 20 L water purif., tab.
• CHLORE, 1000 mg (NaDCC 1670 mg), multipurpose, tab.
• CHLORE, 5000 mg (NaDCC 8680 mg), for 1000Lwater. Purif, tab.

Packaging:

Striped packed in paper/foil laminated and/or packed in screw capped plastic tubs. 4 years shelf life in our blister packaging.

Features:

• Non toxic to humans.
• Rapidly dissolving.
• Added directly to water.
• Exposure time approx. 30 minutes.

Drinking water disinfection:

a) 1 tablet of 1g per 200 litres clear water = 5mg/l = 5ppm available chlorine.

b) 1 tablet of 5mg per 1 litre clear water = 5mg/l = 5ppm available chlorine.

c) Allow mixing for 30 minutes minimum before drinking.

d) To treat smaller quantities: Use the tablets of 5mg (1 tablet per litre).

e) For large scale water treatment, the use of calcium hypochlorite is recommended.
